The most noticeable feature of washbasins for people with disabilities is the specific shape of the sink: its front side is made concave “away from the user”, so that the edges protrude forward. This is the most convenient form if you need to drive up to the sink in a stroller. Also, the protrusions provide additional support for the hands if the user wants to use the washbasin while standing; however, if such a support is needed, it is better to find a model where special handles are provided on the sides of the sink, such options are also found.

Also note that washbasins for people with disabilities are most often mounted in a hanging way — partly so that the sink can be hung at the optimal height, partly so that, again, you can drive up to it with a stroller. And the mounts often have a reinforced design — in case the user needs to lean on the sink with all his weight; however, this point is better to specify separately.
