— sewer fittings have, by the name, three openings. Typically, a tee looks like a small pipe, complete with a side bend, located perpendicular or at an angle. Such parts vary in application, depending on the design. So, you can often find tees, where the side outlet has a smaller diameter than the main pipe, and is intended to connect an additional drain to the main sewer line. If all parts of the tee have the same diameter, then such a fitting can also be used to divide the line into two parts.
