Recuperators with afterheater
Afterheater
— auxiliary heater that increases the supply air temperature. It is usually provided as an addition to the heat exchanger (see the relevant paragraph), to heat the supply air at least to the exhaust air temperature. The energy required from heating, such as a heater can be taken from electrical elements or a water heat exchanger — for more details about the features of both, see "Heater". Here we note that this method of heating, on the one hand, is more efficient than recuperation, on the other hand, it complicates the connection and requires additional energy costs.afterheater | clear | Save List |
