Air supply units
Supply
— units with this type of ventilation are only responsible for supplying outside air into the room — additional equipment must be used for exhaust. Such units are found mainly among centralized models (see "System") — in particular, because in large rooms the supply and exhaust equipment often have to be placed in different places. In addition, this type of ventilation makes it possible to independently choose exhaust equipment. But for decentralized models, this option is inconvenient, so they are rarely made purely inlet.Among the disadvantages of air ventilation units, in addition to the need to separately deal with the exhaust, it is worth noting the impossibility of using built-in heat exchangers in such models — the heat exchanger has to be installed separately.
