Parabolic umbrellas
Parabolic
— a specific variety of photo umbrellas, characterized by two features: large size (up to 2 m or more in diameter) and a parabolic shape of the reflective surface. Thanks to this combination of characteristics, such umbrellas provide a powerful uniform stream of light of large diameter, which allows, for example, to illuminate a person in full growth. By appointment, such umbrellas can be both reflective and translucent (see the relevant paragraphs); moreover, the latter are often universal and allow operation both in transmission and in reflection (although with a noticeable weakening of the luminous flux during reflection). The disadvantage of such devices is a rather high price.Show
