— engravings are special blanks, represented by dense sheets with an applied “pattern of a picture”, which the child needs to finish on his own. The sheets are most often based on cardboard, but metal (copper, bronze, brass, etc.) can also be used. It is necessary to act on the contour of the workpiece with a special scraper, which, usually, is supplied in the kit. Due to the pointed tip, the scraper easily removes the top layer of paint, thus revealing elements of a colour pattern.
