— for children's kits, polymer clay is most often used, which has high plasticity, like classic plasticine. The main distinguishing feature of clay from plasticine is that clay crafts harden after several hours of aging. At the same time, polymer clay acquires an optimal level of hardness without firing, and after hardening, the resulting figures can be painted with paints. Clay can be used for modeling both on the potter's wheel and by hand. Often, kits are additionally equipped with special molding tools.
