Tea strainers
— special devices for brewing tea. Modern strainers are quite diverse in terms of design and application. For example, some models are made of thin wire mesh, others are made of thin metal, ceramic or silicone with holes made in it. Some strainers sink to the bottom, others cling to the top edge of a cup or teapot. There are products in the form of baskets and products from two halves that open when loading tea leaves; the latter may differ in the way they open.
In addition to the fact that the strainer does not allow tea leaves to get into the finished drink, it also allows you to easily remove tea leaves from the cup. This is especially convenient when brewing teas according to certain rules — for example, if the brewing time is clearly defined and it is extremely undesirable to "overexpose" the tea in boiling water.
