Electric toothbrushes with pressure sensor
Pressure sensor
— a sensor that controls the force of pressing the working nozzle to the teeth. The main objective of this function is to prevent damage to the teeth and gums when pressed too hard: if the permissible force is exceeded, the sensor gives a warning signal, and in some models it even turns off the device.Note that the pressure sensor can be built into both the main unit and separate nozzles; in the second case, some of the complete nozzles may not have such equipment. Such nuances should be clarified separately.
Also note that this function is mainly equipped with toothbrushes (including those in the package of flossing systems — see "Type"), however, there are also irrigators with pressure sensors.
