This display provides clearer and more convenient control than using buttons, analog levers or a traditional non-touch screen. Secondly, touchscreen displays are often quite large in size and can display not only banal symbols, but also full-color images. On the other hand, such equipment is not cheap, and the real need for it rarely arises - mainly for controlling the flights of advanced copters.
