Hourglass
Hourglass
— the hourglass is based on a glass flask, the shape of which resembles the number "8". This flask, in fact, is a “dial” (more precisely, the dial in the classical sense is absent in the design at all) — the sand inside is poured from the top of the flask to the bottom for a certain period of time. In other words, the hourglass is not designed to display time in the usual way, but to count time intervals — and each watch model has its own interval (although standard values are usually used — 30 s, 1 min, 2 min, etc.) and you can't change it. Thus, the practical use of such watches is rather small, but they are great for the role of fashion accessories. No offers found
