Analog table clock
Analog
— the dial is of a classic design, based on a round 12-hour scale (the shape of the dial may be different, but it is still based on a circle), where the hands indicate the time. There are usually three hands — hour, minute and second, although there are exceptions: many souvenir watches (see "In direction") do not have a second hand, because it does not fit into the retro style. Anyway, pointer dials are less functional than digital ones, they limit the use of many additional features, and they also work only in a 12-hour time format. On the other hand, this option is still not losing popularity — moreover, it is the most common in desktop clocks. This is due, in particular, to the possibility of being used both in mechanical and quartz watches (moreover, in the first case, other options are practically inaccessible, and in the second case, the hands are cheaper than a digital display). In addition, many users appreciate the arrows for their appearance.Show
