CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp)

— CCFL manicure lamps (cold cathode spiral) are so-called gas-light lamps that operate in the long-wave ultraviolet radiation spectrum. Such light is absolutely harmless to the skin and nails, while allowing the nail paint to dry quickly. The cold cathode spiral is 4 times more intense than the glow of classic UV emitters, any luminescent analogue can be replaced with a CCFL lamp. At the same time, decorative coatings designed for UV light will dry much faster than usual. When choosing a CCFL lamp for manicure, it should be taken into account that the radiation of the cold cathode spiral will be ineffective when drying gels and pastes that crystallize under LED lighting.
