It had been a long time since you cleared out the garage. Okay. To be honest, you had never cleared out the garage. You moved in, saw all the junk in the back storage room, and left it alone. You didn't want to deal with sorting through a stranger's junk and a rodent infestation.  And you were sure about the rodents because you kept hearing rustling from that room.
