Iron soleplate pencil

— specialized cleaners for the soleplate of the iron. They have a solid texture and are made in the form of characteristic pencil sticks, hence the name.

Contamination can form on the soleplate of the iron for various reasons — due to leakage of not very clean water, due to the “burning” of synthetics under an overheated iron, due to ironing initially contaminated materials, etc. Anyway, they are extremely undesirable when work: the iron can stain the fabric being ironed, and it is much more difficult to clean it from burning than the hard surface of the sole. And the dirty sole slides badly.

To correct the situation, special cleaning pencils are used. Such a composition is applied to a heated sole, melts on contact and absorbs dirt in just a minute or two — after which it is enough to wipe the treated surface with a clean cloth (be careful not to burn yourself). It is worth saying that most pencils can be used on any soles, regardless of the surface material; however, there are also limitations — they can be indicated both in the instructions for the iron and in the description of the cleaning product.
