Makiwara

— a type of traditional Japanese training equipment used in martial arts (for example, karate). Makiwara resembles a pillow in shape, which can be used both when working in pairs and when statically fixed to vertical surfaces - for this purpose, the design usually includes handles or special clamps. Training with makiwara develops the strength and accuracy of strikes, allows you to focus on developing the correct technique, maintaining breathing and general physical control.
