Such systems are extremely easy to install: no need to lay the connecting wires, just place the sensor in the right place and make sure that it is not too far from the control unit and there is a connection. However, such devices are more expensive than wired ones, and they receive power from batteries that need to be monitored, but the life of one set of batteries in modern sensors is measured in months, or even years.

Note that some of the systems from this category work only wirelessly, the other part also allows a wired connection.
