— heaters worn over the seat instead of the regular cover (or over it, this possibility can also be provided). Such a heating system covers the entire surface of the seat, in many models — including the headrest. At the same time, the cover, unlike the cape (see the relevant paragraph), “sits” tightly and does not fidget. The disadvantages of such heaters are a rather high cost, as well as dependence on the car model: the cover is made for a specific seat shape, and it may not be compatible with a “non-native” seat. In addition, the cover assumes a permanent presence in one place and is not designed for frequent rearrangements. Like capes, these heater systems are most often plugged into a cigarette lighter.
