Fishing gloves
Gloves
— during fishing, as in most other areas of activity, gloves are intended mainly to protect hands from the cold. At the same time, classic gloves that allow you to move individual fingers provide many possibilities (especially if the fingers are cut off), but they turn out to be not as warm as mittens, in which only the thumb is separately made. Mittens, in turn, perfectly keep warm, but noticeably limit the freedom of action. Thus, universal gloves-mittens are especially popular with fishermen — a kind of "transformers" that combine the features of both options. In fact, these are gloves with cut fingers, complemented by folding “covers”: if necessary, such a cover can be put on the fingers, turning the product into a mitten, and with fine manipulations, the cut fingers allow maximum accuracy. In addition, there are other design options. Anyway, we note that many products from this category are classified as fishing rather conditionally — they are rather general-purpose tourist equipment. However, specialized products for fishermen are also produced — for example, fingerless models with special anti-slip pads that prevent the catch from slipping out of your hands.
