Bottle cages

— special holders for bicycle flasks (usually standard volume — from 500 to 900 mL) and other containers of a similar size. Most bikes have a standard seat for this accessory, usually on the down bar for men's bikes or on the frame between the seat and handlebars for women's.

The convenience of the bottle cage is obvious: it allows you to carry a supply of drinks with you without using bags, backpacks, etc. Usually, the flask is tightly supported both from the sides and the bottom, so the risk of losing it on the road is minimal.
