Heating pads with automatic temperature reduction
Auto temperature reduction
— function of automatic decrease in power (and, accordingly, temperature) of the heater. This function automatically decreases the heating intensity of the device after prolonged high-power operation, typically around 2 — 3 hours. It prevents excessive energy consumption and overheating of both the device and the user. Auto power level adjustment is particularly useful during sleep when the user cannot actively control the mode. This feature is commonly found in electric sheets (refer to "Type"). Some models may allow users to disable this function, and specific details about its operation should be clarified for each case.
Note that automatic switching from fast heating to normal mode is not considered an automatic power change — despite the general similarity, these are different functions.
