Weldon
— a kind of cartridge, popular mainly in the West. The cartridge itself has a cylindrical socket with a clamping screw, and a notch (flat) is made on the shank on the side — the clamping screw rests against it when tightening, fixing the drill and preventing it from turning. Most often, this cartridge is found in magnetic machines (see "Type"), and often such a unit is equipped with a mount that is more traditional in our area — for example, cam or quick-clamping.
