The unique Hikari wafer shape is designed for bottom feeders which have small downward facing mouths and who have to swallow to eat. The wafers are insoluble in water--perfect for slow eating catfish--and are easily digestible.

Hikari Tropical Algae Wafers are a complete daily diet, fortified with vitamin supplements, for the hard to feed plecostomus, algae eaters and other bottom feeders. This food is formulated with mostly vegetable materials that plecostomus and other algae eaters prefer. The sinking Algae Wafers will not dissolve or cloud the water.
