— devices, also called dispensers. Such a device consists of the bowl itself, as well as a special vertical container in the form of an inverted glass, into which food is loaded. The general design of the dispenser is such that when loading the “glass”, part of the food is poured into the bowl, when this food is eaten, a new portion is poured out, and so on, until the “glass” is empty. This design has several advantages over classic bowls. Firstly, the “charge” of the dispenser is enough for several meals, and it is enough to add food once every couple of days, and not before each feeding. Secondly, there is always food in the bowl, and the pet can eat as much as it wants and when it wants. Thirdly, the food supply is in a closed container, which is quite hygienic.

Note that dispensers can be not only feeders, but also drinkers, they can also be used for water. At the same time, such devices are not suitable for canned food; they are designed exclusively for dry food (or water). In addition, feeders are not applicable if food needs to be strictly dosed — for example, if the pet is obese and its diet needs to be limited.
