Grinding wheels
— replaceable attachments in the form of circles (discs), usually installed on a sole of the corresponding shape. They are intended for initial grinding and preparation for polishing, eliminating individual irregularities, cleaning weld seams, leveling ends, etc. They may vary in grit and intensity of grinding, but processing with such a disc is still coarser than using a polishing attachment.Note that only traditional grinding discs with a flat surface are included in this category; flap attachments are classified in a separate category (see the corresponding section).
