Welding goggles
Welder's glasses
— protective devices covering only the eyes and the area of the face around them; can be performed both in the form of classic glasses with two glasses, and in the form of a mask with one glass for both eyes. Such models are noticeably lighter and more compact than masks and shields, however, they do not protect the face from metal spatter and UV arc radiation that can cause skin burns. Therefore, they are highly discouraged from being used for electric welding — except in combination with respirators or other face protection; but for working with gas burners, glasses are often more convenient.Show
