Acavallo's newest saddle pad is the result of recent advances in gel shock absorption and aerodynamics. The innovative structure gel overlay encourages horizontal airflow with a multitude of diametrically opposed contours in the surface with side holes allowing for even more efficient targeted airflow and increased shock absorption on the horse's back. The contoured voids create a cushioning effect each time they are compressed and generate a cooling airflow that keeps the horse's back perfectly dry. This new structure gel cell means that less material is used in the manufacturing process, resulting in a substantial reduction in the overall weight of the pad (almost 20% less than previous Air release pads). This Front Riser version of the Respira pad creates a uniform elevation over the main weight bearing areas of the shoulder and is more subtle and graduated than previous Acavallo gel riser pads.
