The girth connection of the EDIX® Tiamo Western saddle is derived from the technique developed by George B. McClellan in 1855. The triangular connection allows the girth force to interact over a larger area of the saddle, as the connections are attached to the front and rear of the saddle, rather than in the middle. What's more, the position of the strap itself can be adjusted forwards or backwards. In this way, only the weight resulting from the rider's interaction is in the middle. The comfortable Tiamo western saddle consists of a two-part superstructure in supple cowhide and a profiled saddlecloth sub-framestructure with 3 mesh inlays.
