The Ortovox Haute Route Short 30L Backpack packs up all our backcountry essentials when it's time hit the skin track for some early morning pow turns. The 30-liter carrying capacity is the perfect size for a day mission with an S-shaped frame that evenly distributes weight between our hips and shoulders to keep us comfortable and balanced. With seven different compartments, there's plenty of room for our shed layers, water reservoirs, lunch, and safety gear—or a gallon-sized bag of chocolate-covered espresso beans. External fasteners make it easy to throw our skis, snowboards, or snowshoes on our back while there are also external attachments for our rope, ice axe, trekking poles, and crampons.
