If you're using a wide-angle or ultra-wide-angle lens and notice some vignetting, you can easily reduce the thickness of the filter holder by unscrewing the four nuts and removing one or two pairs of filter slots. For a complete configuration, replace the filter slot #3 of the standard configuration with the front plate. This allows you to attach the Cokin EVO C-PL filter in diameter 95mm (for EVO M) or diameter 105mm (for EVO L), enabling the filter holder to hold up to two square or rectangular filters and the Cokin EVO C-PL filter.
