There is something very Tim Burton about anything with black-and-white stripes. Whether it’s that rascally demon Beetlejuice, or Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King himself, it might seem as though Burton has the monopoly on stripey characters and the costumes that go with them. But we ask you to consider this: many referees wear a vertical black-and-white striped shirt. Why don’t they wear matching pants? Or better yet, for the sake of comfort and mobility, matching leggings? This question has haunted us (which is odd, as you would think thinking about Pumpkin Kings and such would be spookier), but the time of the all-stripes referee may have arrived, with the Women’s Black and White Striped Leggings!
