Like King Triton, Sebastian thinks that Ariel should stay away from the human world, and even performs a whole musical number to convince her to stay under the sea!
However, when the little mermaid finds herself washed up on shore under Ursula’s spell, Sebastian can’t bring himself to abandon her. Although he seems to think it’s bad that he’s turning into a “soft-shell,” as he says, we think he’s doing the right thing by helping Ariel!
