This cable is designed to connect a DisplayPort® video source to an HDTV display that uses the standard HDMI® Type-A video connector. It complies with the DisplayPort 1.1 standard, which provides up to 10.8 Gbps. It can transmit 1080p@60Hz video with up to 48-bit Deep Color (16-bits per channel), as well as 4K@24Hz. The connectors are gold plated to ensure long term corrosion resistance and smooth connections.
