It conforms to the DisplayPort 1.2a standard and supports HDMI resolutions up to 4K (3840 x 2160) @30Hz, Dual‑Link DVI resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 @60Hz, and VGA resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 @60Hz. Being a passive adapter, it is NOT compatible with the AMD® Eyefinity and nVidia® Surround™ multidisplay modes. Note that only one of the three video outputs can be used at any given time.
This unidirectional adapter connects a PC or laptop with DisplayPort to a 4K HDMI, Single‑Link DVI, or VGA monitor, display, or projector, but it does not function in reverse (cannot convert HDMI, DVI or VGA to DisplayPort).
