This fused A/C disconnect switch is designed to provide a safe, visible means of power interruption for HVAC equipment during service, maintenance, or emergency shutoff. Built in a durable metal enclosure and UL Listed, it supports 120/240 VAC operation at 30 A with a 1-phase, 3-wire, 2-pole design. The pullout handle provides simple ON/OFF control and can be stored in the compartment in the OFF position to help prevent misplacement while offering clear visual confirmation of disconnection. A protective shield cannot be removed until the pullout handle is removed, helping reduce accidental contact with energized components. The Type 3R rainproof enclosure is intended for outdoor installation in visible proximity to equipment and is commonly used compatible with residential and light commercial air conditioner condensing units / heat pumps / swimming pool pumps / pump houses. Note: This unit includes an internal fuse mounting position, but the fuse is not included and must be purchased and installed separately.
