You know, it’s been a while since we’ve watched The Wizard of Oz, but we can’t actually remember why Glinda is considered the ‘good witch.’ From what we remember, she rolls in after another witch gets crushed by Dorothy’s house and immediately robs the body of its shoes. And then on top of that, she sends Dorothy on a quest to go ice another witch when all she wants to do is go home. Sounds to us like someone was just trying to consolidate witch power for herself. This great costume is a lovely look if your little girl wants to convince everyone that she is the "good" witch around town. The dress has a pink satin skirt and bodice with an overlay of glitter organza spangled with silver glitter stars. The puffed sleeves are entirely organza. Elegant, right? The dress itself fastens at the back of the neck with fabric ties and has silver foam butterfly appliques at the waistline and left shoulder. The crown is molded pink plastic and embossed with silver dots and stars, and fastens with Hook and Loop fastener for comfortable fit. It's all in all a really winsome look. Not a hint of deviousness anywhere to be found!
