FUN Costumes Men's King Henry VIII Costume Black

The King So we all know of King Henry VIII, yes? The ruler of England during the 1500s who had six wives? Of course, we do. He was a man who loved food and drink. He was fond of the hunt, and (supposedly) pretty good-looking. Sure, he was educated and yes, he had a way with the ladies (we need not even mention his sumptuous colorful clothes), but l... moreet's not forget the most important part, shall we? He was King of England. We're talking power here. Power to execute people who got in his way, re-work England's constitution, and of course, start up a new church with himself as the head when he didn't agree with the old church. Henry sure knew how to get his way. Design & Details So if you want to dress up as a powerful ruler, our King Henry VIII Costume is definitely the way to go. The doublet is made of tapestry fabric with gold braided trim on the body and sleeves. There's a bronze medallion on a 30" chain to hang around your noble neck. Just add some fancy boots and maybe a crown (also that white shirt which is sold separately) and you'll be one posh ruler. Just remember you aren't actually King Henry VIII. So don't try bossing people around like you're the king of England, because that probably won't go so well.

FUN Costumes King Henry VIII Men's Costume Black FUN2621

KING HENRY VIII Life as a king would certainly be an interesting one. You would live your entire life in the spotlight, the center of attention. It'd certainly take some getting used to! Imagine living in a castle. You wake up in the morning in your Massive stone bedroom and the maid has already put out a little breakfast for you at your desk. Afte... morer breakfast, it's off to the throne room to discuss royal politics with your trusted staff.  After this, you take a lunch break and go for a horseback ride across the surrounding countryside, just to get some fresh air. Then it's back to the castle to discuss more politics, then it's dinner time. Then, finally, you are done with your work and can listen to some live entertainment that has come all the way across the country to sing for you. Sounds like a pretty great day, doesn't it?  FUN DETAILS  This costume will have you totally prepped for your first day as king. You'll be wearing a black doublet that is covered in gold accents. Gold is the color of kings, after all. It matches your crown! Over this, you'll be wearing a bronze medallion on a long bronze chain. You'll be looking the part of a king now, all you'll need are some pants, the undershirt, and a crown and your costume should be complete! This is a look that we are so confident in that we honestly think King Henry VIII himself would have approved!  FIRST ACT AS KING  When you become king, what will be the first thing you do? What will be your first royal act, whether a law or removal of one? We know what we would do. We would require people to start dressing up for Halloween. Everyone is dressing up this year, no exceptions!
