FUN Costumes Kid's Black Fringe Flapper Costume | 20's Costumes

Has your daughter been practicing her Charleston? Her feet swinging out in impossible ways. Or perfecting the Black Bottom? Her arms doing a funky chicken kind of motion, an pulling her knees up to her chest. Then doing what looks like jumping jacks. Tap dance and ballet have become boring to her, tedious even. They have too strict movements, unlik... moree the Peabody where she can be as flamboyant or elegant as she wants. Then there is the way she has been dressing. It's a cute style, but you can't quite figure out where she got the loose vee neck sweater. Or the knee length pleated skirt. Or the long pearl necklaces for that matter. And those shoes. You can't quite remember buying them for her, maybe they are her tap shoes. Guess that's just what happens when you have kids, can't remember anything. For her school dance she has asked for the whole get up. This Child Black Fringe Flapper Costume is the perfect item to pull together her look. She will showoff her awesome dancing skills. And her dress fringe will be doing a crazy swish while she is doing the funky chicken and jumping jack motions of the Black Bottom. Her shoes making the rhythmic tap on the gym floor as she does the Charleston. Her pearl necklaces swinging back and forth as she kicks her feet high. Just hope she doesn’t start talking like a flapper girl. You'll have to ask Google what she means when she calls someone the 'big cheese'.

BRING BACK FLAPPER STYLE It's time to bring back flapper style, right? We don't just want to see it in a costume anymore, we want to see it everywhere we go! When we go out to eat at the local bar, we want to see guys in suits and gals in a flapper dress. That old-timey style comes with a certain feel, a certain nostalgia that we would love to feel... moreevery day!  Why don't we bring back the music too? We would love to dance the Charleston when we head out on the town! Can you imagine everyone doing the Charleston while dancing to some upbeat jazz at the next wedding you attend? Now THAT would be a classy affair. Now that the 1920's were almost a full 100 years ago, it is time for these things to make a comeback. Let's make it happen!  FUN DETAILS  This costume comes in the form of a black pullover dress. This dress might be only one color, but it is anything but basic! It has not one, not two, but seven layers of fringe wrapped around it! That's right, seven. If the fringe wasn't enough, we also threw some sequins around the neckline, because you are so totally worth it! And of course, we couldn't forget a headband. The headband is an essential part of any flapper costume, it simply wouldn't be right without it. This one is covered in black sequins and has a feather sticking up on the front!  THE CHARLESTON Now, if you plan on wearing this costume, we expect you to learn to do the Charleston! We don't know how to do it, otherwise we would teach you ourselves. But, maybe once you learn, you could make a video to teach us? Our feet and hands don't always work together that well, we could use any help we can get!
