In Character Toddler Valiant Knight Costume | Toddler Warrior Costume Blue

Even though our professional training is in making Halloween costumes, we have an amateur's enthusiasm for a lot of different occupations. So the part of us that likes to read biographies and volunteer at the local historical society was really psyched about this regal Toddler Knight Costume! Unfortunately, their museum doesn't have any displays ab... moreout the age of chivalry, since the head-to-toe chain mail fad never quite made it to this part of the world. But we're still really excited, so we thought we'd take a shot at giving this outfit some brief historical context. Ahem: About a thousand years ago, people were so good at putting pointy pieces of metal on the end of sticks, they didn't think there was any room for improvement. But along came a clever (and kind of crazy) blacksmith who realized that linking a bunch of little metal loops together was a really great way to stop pointy pieces of metal from getting to the squishy parts of a person! Everybody who had a suit of this new kind of armor became very popular. In fact, the inhabitants of each village and hamlet handed out candy to these glittering guardians, hoping that they'd stick around for a while. That gave rise to knights, a class of armor-wearers for hire, who went from town to town collecting treats for a living! And sometimes they wore crowns for fun (and dramatic effect). In that proud tradition we humbly offer this detailed outfit, so that anyone can reap the sweet rewards that come from dressing up in a shiny coat of mail! The end!

In Character Knight Costume for Toddlers | Toddler Warrior Costume Blue

Good Knight So it seems like you have a budding knight on your hands. We totally understand. If we had our choice of medieval jobs, why, the knight would be at the top (of course). Not only are they skilled protectors, but they were often wealthy. Well-known. They protected the kingdom and fought for the king. There is no nobler job than that of a... moreknight. That's why we are completely unsurprised when you tell us you have a little one who wants to be a knight. Of course, they would. Knights are the best.  Although, it's a bit difficult to be a knight that young. Typically, ye olde kingdoms would want your young one to train for years before they became a noble knight. Although we're pretty sure rules are a little different nowadays.  We're pretty sure your little one could be a knight if they wanted to. There's really only one problem: A uniform in their size.  Fun Details Never fear, small defender of the kingdom! That's where we come in. As royal tailors, we have created uniforms of all shapes and sizes for the knights, including this Knight Costume. This outfit is a single jumpsuit styled to look like a tunic over trousers. The boot covers and gauntlets are even attached. The jumpsuit has a zipper up the back, and a coat-of-arms printed on the front. The sleeves are covered with silver mesh, to look like armor, and the red satin cape attaches to the back of the suit. The hood is covered in the same metallic silver mesh and it fastens under the chin with a hook-and-loop fastener. In this outfit, your little one will look like one of the king's finest. On Guard! Of course, if they want to graduate a full suit of metal armor and horses and jousts and such, they will have to go through all that aforementioned training... they can save that for later. For now, we simply recommend they enjoy being a protector of the realm.
