Proactiv Solution’s star ingredients are benzoyl peroxide (BPO), glycolic acid, and allantoin. Our prescription-grade, microcrystal benzoyl peroxide face wash gets deep into pores to kill acne-causing bacteria at its source. Glycolic acid is a renowned alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells and excess oil. Allantoin, a nourishing botanical, moisturizes the complexion and helps promotes healthy-looking skin. Use this 3-step skincare system morning and night to treat blackheads, whiteheads, clogged pores, and pimples. How to Use: Renewing Cleanser: Use this face cleanser twice a day, morning and night. Dampen skin, then massage a dime-sized amount gently into your skin for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Revitalizing Toner: Apply this face toner twice a day, morning and night, after washing your face. Apply a nickle-sized amount to a cotton ball or pad and sweep across entire face. Allow the toner to dry (do not rinse off) and follow with Repairing Treatment. Repairing Treatment: Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer 1 to 3 times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with 1 application daily, then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor.
