It is built from 14 AWG, 3-conductor copper wire with a flame-retardant VW-1 SJT jacket and fully molded ends, rated 15A at 125V for indoor use, and the cordset is UL Listed. The C19 connector fits the C20 inlets commonly found on rack PDUs, larger UPS units, servers, and core switches; it is larger than the common C13 and will not fit C14 inlets, and the 5-15P plug limits the cordset to 15A even though some C19 hardware exists in 20A versions.
