OVERVIEW: The Power King Towmax STR II is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.The tire offers an excellent all weather traction. The tire compound and the symmetric tread design firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather road conditions. The tread features a notched center rib and interconnected middle ribs that keep the tire's road contact at all times, while the compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and exceptional all weather traction guarantee a safer towing experience.The special tread design also manages to improve the tread life and the tire's controllability. The ribbed pattern keeps the tire's road contact at all times, which boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The constant road contact of the symmetric tread pattern equally spreads the driving pressure out across the tread area.
