The Waterford Mouthpiece is made up of a series of ball-shaped links, which makes it completely mobile in all directions. It is particularly popular for problems such as leaning, biting and jaw lock. When the horse tries to grab the bit, the mouthpiece collapses, leaving the horse with no rigid grip.The mouthpiece allows pressure to be distributed over the tongue and mouth bars. Combined with simple, loose rings, this bit is ideal for stronger horses that tend to lean or hang on the bit.
