But what you'll appreciate the most is the DC motor, which makes the fan far more efficient than other ceiling fans and also keeps it quieter than you would expect. This indoor fan includes the Minka-Aire Artemis Hand-held Remote Control. It allows you to turn the light on and off, adjust the speed of the ceiling fan and reverse the blades in winter. The remote can be put on the wall in an included sling if you prefer. Another option is to add the Minka-Aire DC Wall Fan control to replace a current wall switch. In addition, this fan includes Minka-Aire's Smart Control functionality. You can control this fan over Wifi using Minka-Aire's SmartControl app or your favorite voice device (Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Google Nest, or Ecobee).
