Imitation Man by Amouage opens with a leather chypre accord, dove cedar and a mix of spices, followed by violet, iris and a velvety and vinyl accord, symbol of the frenetic mood of those years. All crowned by leather and vetiver which, together with patchouli and myrrh, highlight an era in continuous artistic ferment, an era devoted to excess and transgression.
