It's a burly pack that withstands the abrasive nature of rocks, and it has a padded waist belt and shoulder straps that can be removed or tucked away to ensure you won't snag on the way up. Its tube-style design stands and stays open all by itself, so loading and unloading is a breeze. Two daisy chains allow external gear attachment while a small zippered pocket in the lid lets you secure your headlamp, snacks, and other small items that would otherwise get sucked into the vortex of gear.
