The one-piece costume is easy to put on and fastens up the back and inside the inseam for diaper access. The super-soft polyester material feels like wearing a favorite pair of pajamas and is printed to look like a Minion's uniform. The long sleeves and mock turtleneck collar area are colored a bright yellow, while the printed "overalls" covering the chest and legs are denim-toned. A faux pocket emblazoned with Gru's logo decorates the front. The polyester headpiece is designed to look like the top of a Minion's head, complete with a set of foam goggles which can be detached.
