The Glow 12X12 Butterfly Scrim Kit tackles the most daunting lighting challenges out there - even lighting to bathe a vast area, without special modifiers on the source. The 12x12' Butterfly consists of a collapsible aluminum frame that can be easily assembled and fitted with an efficient light modifying, light diffusion screen, to transform any intense light source from hard to soft, natural to artificial. The sheer size of our 12x12 Butterfly Scrim helps the master the harsh nature of a powerful light source into a wide variety of diffused illumination solutions. The cleverly constructed lightweight 1-inch square anodized aluminum frame is hinged and jointed to form a perfect stable square, reinforced to hold its shape with 8 locking levers. The whole frame collapses down to a transportable and storage friendly 6' x 6" x 3", in its zippered bag. The diffusion material is a translucent silk type material that is bungee fastened through grommet eyelets on the fabric onto the constructed 12x12 aluminum frame. The Glow 12x12 Butterfly Scrim frame is supported best by C Stands, like the Flashpoint FPLSC, using the two included C Stand Adapter Brackets. When secured with weights or sandbags outdoors, it reduces the intensity of any sunlight and filters softly on subjects being filmed or photographed.
