Delivers Class 3 PoE power over Ethernet cabling. Complies with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard supplying up to 15.4W out of the injector.
Ethernet cable goes from non PoE switch into the Injector. A separate Ethernet cable goes with PoE from Injector to broader network. Typically Injector is placed next to the switch. Power is delivered to the Injector from a cord (ordered separately) plugged into a local outlet.
Compatible with Aruba Instant On Access Points AP11, AP11D, AP12, AP15, AP17 and AP22 models.
Supports Gigabit speed connections between switch and Injector, transmitting data at same Gigabit speed to the remote device.
Power cord must be ordered separately.
