The tire's symmetric tread design further upgrades summer traction by firmly gripping the road surface. The wide circumferential grooves actively prevent hydroplaning as they eliminate water from beneath the footprint. The tire's compound and tread design, however, will not maintain their excellent traction in winter weather and the tire is not recommended for use in colder temperatures. The tire features a reinforced internal structure which provide a limited temporary performance in case of air pressure loss. Once air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or other damage, the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph. This allows the tire's secure performance, as in case of tire failure, the vehicle will not be stranded on the side of the road. These tires are usually made for vehicles without space for spare tires, and they cannot be mixed with regular tires on the same vehicle.
